Probably the hardest STEM weed out class you can take. The course goes into depth about integration and series!!!

Would not recommend York for MAC2312, I took him for MAC2311 and he’s was amazing just for that course. Recommend Manly!!! You can always look up UF MAC2312 and his past lectures and exam reviews are available!

Get study edge if you can afford it, if not use UF Knacks tutoring!!! The Broward tutoring center does amazing exam review a couple days before the exam!!!

MAC2313 was a great class and was very manageable with Dr. York. The course is very interesting and useful, especially if you enjoy visualizing math in three dimensions. The workload was moderate, the class was fair, and the material built naturally from Calculus 1 and 2.

The course covers standard Calculus 3 material: vectors, lines and planes, partial derivatives, multiple integrals, vector calculus, and major topics from multivariable calculus. It was very useful because it strengthened my geometric intuition and prepared me for later math courses.

Dr. York is a great professor. He is confident, gentle, easy to understand, passionate about math, and supportive of students. He encourages participation and makes the class feel approachable. The only downside is that he writes quickly during lectures, so it can be hard to keep up sometimes.

Pay close attention in lecture and be ready to write quickly, because Dr. York moves fast. Keep up with the homework and make sure you understand the geometry behind the formulas. The class is very fair and manageable if you stay consistent.

Tough, if you're not a math-person, you'll have to put in a lot of work.
