Pretty cool course if you at least sort of like chemistry. Won’t like though kinds challenging at some points especially some of the last few units imo. Also kinda faced paced which would be challenging especially if some of the concepts are completely new and you didn’t learn them in highschool

Interesting but heavy.

Loved him so much. Did Chem crams on his own time to help students do well. Super nice guy, helpful in prof office hours as well.

Do lots of practice tests cause the questions on the practice test are most of the time not at all like the ones you do in class

I have very mixed feelings about this course. They give you SO many resources to prepare you for the tests. Sometimes, they are less efficient that I would like them to be, but obviously that's expected. I tried using the textbook, but there are no explanations to the solutions, which is not useful. Dr. G is very nice and likeable and his efforts to help the students succeed is admirable through the works of the ChemCram or IClickers for practice. Unfortunately, he can be confusing at times, but I think that's just because he answers questions in an elaborate way instead of it being concise. The organization of the class itself is not too bad.
