Course Content
Explores the issues in Indigenous communities caused by colonialism. It provides an introduction to Indigenous history, contemporary issues facing Indigenous peoples, and the role of social workers in creating these issues. Also discusses how non-Indigenous social workers can work with Indigenous communities and clients respectfully and sensitively.

Advice
This program requires you to read two novels and weekly academic articles in 12 weeks, which is quite intense. However, you can still get a good grade by reading only one novel and the academic articles.
