…it’s baby Calc 1.
Baby Calc 1 is just dumbed/slowed down. The prof goes at a snail’s pace most of the time. Having taken Calc in high school (not for college credit) and therefore being familiar with most of the content, the course is a breeze.
She doesn’t explain a whole lot or very well, but once a student asked why she multiplied by 1000 instead of dividing by .001… basic algebra/pemdas questions are common among my peers. Sometimes she’s a bit behind on posting the notes from class; but rarely anything that you can’t learn from the examples in MML or that PhotoMath can’t help with.
She takes attendance every once in a while, more so as the semester goes on. Honestly I quit going in November, not really by active/conscious choice and more that I just slept later. She posts the notes on Canvas (as in, scans of the exact pages she writes in class). It’s very easy to learn everything via MML and occasionally skimming the notes. 2/3 of the work (hw due on M and quizzes due on F) is through MyMathLab (which has example problems and a “help me solve this” option for the hw). The other 1/3 (due on W) is “written homework” which is basically the essay-question for math (e.g. show all work, not multiple choice or fill in the blank).
