It is 2025 and this course is based in windows 7 which ended support in January 2020. The fundamental problem with this course is that it being taught by the people who chose a text book based on windows 7. This is basic hardware stuff and having access to a lab should be a fun learning activity. Instead it is drudgery completing pointless labs in an outdated os and no one knows why or can communicate any expected learning objectives. This is a basic tech intro class. When I look online I see high schools and colleges around the world teach this material without teaching outdated operating systems. Skip this class and find some place else or get a cert. or watch you tube videos for a month. This class is a waste
