Apparently, this is the first time Dr. Brown has taught since he changed the syllabus. I thought the class was easy to understand, especially after taking A-Level Maths. I have also taken IB AI SL. There were zero calculations for my exams and quizzes, but he is still doing an overhaul, so take it with a grain of salt. Do be prepared to write note,s though, because Dr.Brown's quizzes and exams are FULLY based on what HE SAYS, so there could be random metaphors he said in class included. If you are trying to do INFO prereqs and don't wanna deal with stats calculations, this is a good one.

Labs are easy points but homework is quite difficult. You’ll learn how to use R whether you’re new to it or programming in general. Stats is challenging subject. Mini-exams were closed book this quarter, so expect studying. Will Brown did a pretty good job explaining each concept.

This was the class that I went to office hours the most, so go to them! They are super helpful when it comes to hard homework questions. Use the textbook to your advantage and watch/attend lectures.
