Professor Wong is very insightful and knows a lot about many things even outside of his primary fields (which makes sense given the reading list for this class), but the caveat is that his class is extremely difficult to get a 4.0 in because of how high his expectations are, which is understandable. He is open to making appointments to develop whatever essay you're writing which is good.

This is a very reading- and writing-intensive course, so be sure to take as many notes as you can and utilize Prof. Wong's office hours when necessary. Reading material is great.

Wong is a very knowledgeable and helpful professor, try to take a class with him before he retires (which will be soon, he told my class when I had him).
