Students have to self learn most of the materials in this class. There are two major HW assignments due each week, and while the topics covered are interesting, it will be extremely hard if you're not good at teaching yourself or managing your time.

Lauren Bricker is one of the worst CSE professors. She goes off topic easily during lectures and her explanations are confusing - often there are details that are vaguely mentioned or not mentioned at all that will result in a point deduction on homework. She writes exams that are too long to be completed in the given 45 minutes.
