The lectures are interesting, but they can be quite fast paced. The tests are very memorization oriented, so start studying for them ASAP. The only assignments in the class are 3 tests, a map and chronology quiz and an essay. Dr Friend is nice and funny, and he makes his expectations for the class clear.
