This semester was Mental Health Comm with Tim Curran, and I loved it! I genuinely was excited for class because of how interesting the topics were. Each week was a new topic that we related to mental health. So over the semester we talked about things like racism, disability, relationship abuse, etc. each week got its own presentation & discussion day.

Tim is incredible, and you can tell that he really cares about his students. He’s also just super passionate and knowledgeable, which makes for a fantastic learning environment.

It’s more like a grad seminar than a regular undergrad class, which can be daunting at first but it’s not too bad. We’d meet twice a week, and one day would be dedicated to a lecture and the other day we’d get into a big discussion group and chat about what we’d learned.
