I liked this class. I feel like I learned a lot.

You will learn about a ton of different drugs and how to identify them. Be prepared to know how the drugs are analyized.

Dr. He teaches this class better than her other classes, but I may have just been more interested in this class.

Read the Syllabus and read it carefully and also keep a copy of it from the beginning of the semester. The instructor told us at the begginning of the semester that discussion boards were optional and then when it got close to finals said that they were required, so half the class was freaking out about their lower grades.

You learn about the various methods of analysis used in forensic laboratories. It is pretty chemistry heavy, so be prepared for that.

The professor is nice as a person, but would benefit from a course on teaching. She is incredible and knows what she's talking about, however is not the best at teaching that information to someone who doesn't know what she's talking about. She also has a thick accent which makes it difficult to understand her, so don't be afraid to have her repeat herself.

I would have liked to have been better prepared for the chemistry portion of this class. Don't take all of your chemistry classes freshman year and then take this class junior year.
