This course is marketed as a psychological exploration of gender using social, cognitive, and biological perspectives, with some analysis of contemporary literature. In practice, it functions more like a DEI class in disguise — heavy on ideological framing, light on balanced scientific inquiry or open debate. At the beginning of the course students were force to say their pronouns.The instructor presented material through a consistently negative lens: endless focus on victimization, systemic oppression, and doom-and-gloom narratives about gender relations in society.
