This class is very easy, very engaging, and the most interested that I have been in a class since coming to campus. You did need an iClicker when I took the class, but the physical one wasn't required. You could use the app if you'd like. Most of the work you will do is in the discussion section, but it's all very easy.

Every class consisted of very easy-to-follow lecture slides. I highly recommend that you write everything on the slides that she presents. When I took the class, there were 3 exams. All of the exams were open note; however, you were only permitted one, one-sided page of hand-written notes. That may sound like not enough, but if you write everything she has on the slides, it should be no problem fitting that all onto one page. She doesn't include a lot on her slides. I had no problem fitting everything onto one page for the exams if I wrote small enough.

She was very nice. She always engaged the class by asking questions throughout the lecture. The person with the highest attendance score at the end of the semester got candy or something like that. She never randomly called on anyone to answer a question, which is the best type of professor in my opinion. She speaks at a wonderful pace when giving lectures. I don't think I ever saw a slide of hers that had more than 30 words.

Always show up, and always take all the notes you can. The discussions are super easy. There is no reason for you not to get a 95 or higher in this course.
