This class has a higher workload than MATH 241 (Calc 3). Didn't help that the prof was not very good at teaching. Don't get me wrong, he is a good guy but there is a reason why the lecture attendance shrank from 300 -> 30 by the end of the semester. Use Lumetta slides.
Introduction to computer systems, covers an entire intro from binary to gates to flip flops to combinational and sequential circuit design and then to Finite State Machines, Von Neumann machines and then to assembly and finally a bit of Datapath/Microsequencer design
Professor is very nice, but unfortunately is not the best teacher.
Get ready for 15h+ of work a week if you don't already know C, Boolean Algebra, and assembly.

Interesting Class. A very good introduction to computer engineering.
Interesting Class. A very good introduction to computer engineering. This class is a mix of assembly programming, digital logic, computer engineering, and how small electric components are assembled to become a computer
He's okay. Not the worst
Study on your own. Don't be a mama boy. Go look up stuff on the internet. Use Lumetta Notes

Very nice and fundamental intro class for CompE.
Could be done Asynchronously
Homework can be very time intensive. Please do not procrastinate, especially if you are doing ECE 210 at the same, which usually has homework due the same day.

Disregard the previous guy's comment about 120. His comments of "very interesting" and "easy" are absolute nonsense.
