This course is historically quite volatile (depends heavily on the professor). With Somnath, the course was very manageable even without attending lectures.

Introductory statistics and probability (basically stats 1 & 2). Probability, random variables, hypothesis testing, regression, ANOVA.

Graded like an absolute legend. Provided front and back note sheet for each exam. However, lectures were difficult to understand, as he was new to teaching and had a moderately heavy accent as well as shitty handwriting. Didn't go to class after the second week, simply used lecture notes to get up to speed before each HW/exam and ended with a 103% in the class.

Figure out how your professor is going to approach the course and adjust accordingly.
