Workload overall was pretty light. We had video worksheets and powerpoint quizzes but those were relatively easy and overall took no more than like 20 mins. I highly recommend taking it if you're pursuing the Meteorology and Climatology certificate.

The class covers historic and modern day floods around the world and focuses somewhat on terminology and mechanisms related to floods, rivers, dams, etc.

Dr. Mossa is amazing. She makes sure to humanize each of her students and does a great job at recognizing what each of them want out of the course. She is also very knowledgeable about the course topics and curriculum.

The course does have some in class group activities, but most of the content is derived off of her powerpoints or through video worksheets.
