Very interesting class and the professor gives a lot of hints about the questions on the exam through the lectures and PowerPoint slides. I enjoyed the material and learned a lot!

I think this class is very important from both a person wanting to be a healthcare professional in the future and as a patient.

Professor was very knowledgeable. He helps a lot with exam hints! My TA was also very sweet and provided a lot of useful feedback on assignments.

When studying for tests, go to every slide where he added those quiz/test stickers and make sure you understand each piece of information on those slides. Take good notes when he lectures because he will have many hints throughout his lecture. You can definitely do well in this course.

Interesting and fun. Lots of projects/assignments but they do help you learn, even if they seem like busy work.

Dr. Kates is a bit quirky but he is very knowledgeable and pushes you to learn the most that you can about the US Healthcare System
