The content is very difficult but they graded relatively easy. The original professor Malka left halfway through, but it wasn't too bad getting used to the new professor. You have to participate in every class (you'll get called on to read things out of the textbook) but it's not as bad as it seems because most of the class struggles with oral reading. It's a very small class (maybe 15 people); most had little experience, there were a few fluent speakers.
Homework most nights that can be done quickly with Google translate, one quiz or test every week (average difficulty most of the time), multiple-choice final (pretty easy from what I remember), one group project presentation, and one speech in Hebrew you had to present and memorize. When I took the class, I'm pretty sure they used the same format and assignments every semester.
Good professor, easy to communicate with, nothing remarkable about her teaching. You learn best from practice.
