There are no words to describe just how awful this course is. Since I took the summer session the content was taught by two grad students, the quality of their presentations and notes were both so bad that it was not worth it for me to haul myself over to the NPB in the summer heat just to get a poor lecture, Instead I relied on Youtube videos entirely to adequately learn the content. The next thing I noticed is that there is a sort of learned helplessness with the homework. There are usually 10-14 absurdly difficult problems that can take up to 3-4 hours of work each week. All the homeworks combined equal only around 5% of the grade, making it questionable the worth of spending that much time each week on fringe problems.

Don't take this class, whatever you do try and take it at a local community college or something. It's cruel and destroyed any interest I had in physics.

It was hard towards the end and not applicable to my major. I am pre-med, and this stuff was just unnecessary.

Unnecessarily hard exams, homework doesn’t relate to lectures, no relevant practice questions

Unnecessarily difficult class since the science is mostly useful only if your taking the MCAT. They try to make you memorize formulas for quizzes which is not how the real world works. They complicate the class to weed out students and for no other reason but that.

I am planning to go into epidemiology so I found 90% of the course content useless

Weatherford is amazing and really breaks things down. Saab will confuse the heck out of you and over complicate things.

Change your major if you can to avoid this class. JK I wish I knew an excellent physics tutor before taking this class.
