Comments on the course

It's a really fun course with a lot of free plants and interesting lectures, but be prepared to study for the exams, as they're more about botany than they are gardening.

Course Content

The course covers the basics of plant care, as well as a few more detailed lectures on topics such as strawberries, succulents, and medicinal plants. There are lots of opportunities for extra credit, and the out of class project is very easy to do.

Comments on the professor

Dr Clark was a lot of fun. He had a lot of passion for plants and a lot of corny jokes to tell, so his lectures were always interesting.

Advice

Make sure you do the extra credit! It's really easy, and all of the points really add up.

Comments on the course

I enjoyed it. You get plants which is fun. There is plenty of extra credit. The quizzes and exam are very detailed though. They are open note but the questions ask for super detailed stuff, so just be ready to write just about everything down. The project and extra credit are super easy.

Course Content

It covers a few different types of plants in detail, uses for plants, some plant history. It's all pretty interesting.

Comments on the professor

He is a super chill professor.

Be ready to take lots of notes
