Comments on the course

Lecture heavy on exams, show up and listen, do the supplemental work too. She is a good teacher, good lecturer. Content can be very dense, so make sure you space yourself out accordingly. Extra credit opportunity, and a lot of help available.

Comments on the course

Really enjoyed this class! Was super useful and sets a good foundation.

Course Content

Covers just about every system of the body--very in depth anatomy class. Was useful.

Comments on the professor

Prof A. was very lighthearted and the best lecturer I have had at UF. However, you can't lose attention for more than a few second because every word that comes out of her mouth is fair game for the tests. I recorded her lectures in time with my notes (Notability) so I could hear exactly what she was saying as I wrote it down and skip to certain parts of her lectures which was very useful. Professor did not require attendance, but she also did not record lecture. I would highly recommend going in person. It is hard to understand the material without seeing exactly what she is doing/drawing at times.

Advice

FILL OUT HER SLO'S AFTER EVERY LECTURE! It takes less than 30 minutes and is the only study tool I used. I received over a 100 in this course. You do not need to read the textbook or buy SmokinNotes. All you need to do is thoroughly fill out her SLOs and understand the material. Again, she's a great lecturer and I rarely had to go to office hours for additional help understanding things. She gives you all the information you need to succeed!
