Tseng is really laid back and forgiving when it comes to assignments (there are weekly programming projects) and allows you to resubmit for a better grade because he understands how tough they can be but the workload at times became a bit much. The content itself is very boring but seeing how it applies to economics is interesting. He gives out reviews (graded) for the tests and lets you know that some of the questions on there will also be on the actual test. The final did not have a review and it was extremely long and tiresome. If you have patience and plan your time accordingly you will get a good grade in the class because he curves a bit at the end. Know statistics and calculus or at least the basic concepts to help you do better because you're kind of just thrown into the lessons. If you can, prepare for programming with R because you're going to be using it HEAVILY throughout the entire semester.
