This class is a GEP but has a grading scheme where 70% of it is made up of tests and 30% is from homework. My class did so badly that he had to give us two extra credit assignments. The exams are not at an introductory level. Can you tell me what the surface of Io is like? If you take this class you better know or maybe you won't need to because the study guides he gives are useless. The weighting is unfair and plain wrong when so many in the class do poorly. The only saving grace is because of how ridiculous the class is a 55% counts as a D and for most of the majors a D will let you pass the class. It's almost like they know people won't do well.

I was not the only one who did really bad. If you like astronomy you'll enjoy it but if you're looking for an easy GEP find a different one.
