My 2nd semester at UCF and 5th year of taking college classes and this was by far the hardest class I've ever taken. Exam questions are especially difficult and harder than most homework and quiz problems and require you to have a firm understanding of many mechanisms taught (sometimes barely and you have to teach yourself). My professor was more of a good grader and cool guy and less of a good teacher.
Do NOT try to memorize. Pay full attention, use lots of videos, practice tons of problems, and don't procrastinate. Expect exams to be significantly more difficult than homework and quizzes, and be in a perfect mindset while taking them: alert, not having to use the restroom, well rested, fed, etc. This is because solving some of these problems sometimes takes a lot of thinking and logic. Being in ideal conditions and taking your time on problems can save an exam grade.
