Easy course, interesting GEP, and a funny professor.

Attendance is not mandatory but you should go as his lectures are super funny!

Entire class is online – modules are released every few weeks. 6 quizzes, 5 exams (+ the final) and very easy stuff. Only one oral communication assignment (project type)

Took COM 1000 online in Fall 2020. Very time consuming, need to put in effort and work into the class, even though it is a low-level class. Textbook is required in the class, some of quizzes and tests questions are pull out of it. Need to pay attention to every detail for each module. Tests us on questions that has a very specific answer. Need to watch every video, articles/paper (some are over 50 pages), since everything is basically tested in the class. One speech that is due in the class; since I took this class online; you can spend a lot of time time and takes on it; submitted through Canvas through video; I can't say about it if you take the class in-person. 4 tests and 1 final (have to take), 1 test and 1 quiz is drop at the end of the term.
