Comments on the course

Was a super fun lab despite the workload. I found the experiments enjoyable.

Advice

Accuracy of your product (yield and calculation correctness) takes up about 40 points of your lab report grade (total of 75 points). Don't write the lab reports the night before, no matter how tempting it might be. Do your prelab questions well in advance so if you have any questions about them you can ask beforehand.

Comments on the course

Fun lab, but tough. Accuracy is 40% of your grade so be careful! 9 labs but the lowest is dropped. Rex is usually only there to grade notebooks at the beginning of the lab, so you rely heavily on your TA. Machinery and data acquired from it is super interesting

Advice

Ask lots of questions if unsure and go slow!
