She grades quite generously. The assignments are designed to help you understand abstract concepts. The midterm exam was fairly manageable, with an average score of around 60. The final exam, however, was extremely rigorous; a single question often contained numerous calculation problems, yet these accounted for only 1–2 points out of a possible 100. the worst thing, you need that 1-2 marks because questions were interconnected. The average score was close to 50, and she do a very big curve for the final, since it accounted for 40% of the total grade…
corporate finance, dividend policy, capital structure, D/E, TVM, NPV, etc
She’s an great professor! she explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. I really enjoy her classes, they’re the only two courses where I actually learn something in class without having to study on my own!
Show up and do the practice questions. no cheat sheet allowed tho
