Comments on the course

Had this class not been mandatory in first year engineering, I would not take it. Content is hard at times but also very dull and hard to keep focused on unless you're interested in the behaviour of different phases. Also tests/quizzes are unreasonably long and demanding. At least Kalos is fun

Comments on the course

Everyone seems to hate this class, but I personally loved it. Super applicable information that answers all the questions you may have had about how basic material properties work.

Advice

Show up and take notes. Do the practice problems and attend tutorials. If you struggle, go to the evening sessions held with grad students.
