Expect to read at least 20 pages of intense political theory before each class. That being said, if you run short on time or just can't get through the readings, online summaries work as well. I always got the most out of class when I read the passages beforehand though. If you find this type of thing interesting, you will probably love it.

Dr. Umphres was awesome. By far the most engaging lecturer I've had so far. He explains really complex material in a way that is understandable.
