Comments on the course

This profs lectures aren't as clear as cindas. Otherwise the content is pretty good, but this term the profs were behind in schedule.

Advice

Get Cinda as your prof if u can

Comments on the course

CPSC 221 is useful, and not too difficult if you keep up with the work and stay focussed. I enjoyed the projects the most in the course despite requiring insane amounts of effort and time at times (perhaps I'm addicted to getting green when my tests pass.) Will and Cinda are profs sent from Heaven -- they aren't so lenient as to make everything super easy but they really do reward you for understanding the material, unlike those who put random material on the final.

Advice

Make sure you give yourself at least a few days to work on the projects. I would say you must get started at least 3 days before the deadline, and when I say "started" I mean try and finish the whole thing in one day and then try again the next day because you will certainly fail the first time. Then try again the next day. Hopefully by then you will have at least 80% on the project.

Super awesome, very good explanations, especially after the lecture, also very patient. Jokes aren't super funny, but in the context of the course they were great.
