Personally, I hated this class. Nothing against the professor but the course itself was awful. The delivery was poor and a lot of useful information often fell through the cracks. There was a lot of material so you skim through everything without going into any depth. The way the homework was assigned is also poorly thought out so you often will be doing homework on a topic before you are taught how to actually do it in lecture. The labs were a special kind of hell too. Because of this class, I will be happy if I never take another Chemistry course again.

Get ready to dump a ton of time into this class and just try to survive.

There is a steep learning curve in the first few weeks, but after getting into the groove this lab is very enjoyable.

Easiest university class I've ever taken. I found it quite enjoyable as well. Some of the few hands-on experiences in first year.

Follow the lab rubrics and conventions carefully and be incredibly detailed in your reports. That's pretty much all there is to this class.
