Interesting course and is a requirement for LASO minor. The professor is great and very knowledgeable. The course consists of lectures and a weekly discussion. Is a solid introduction to legal issues and links sociological concepts with law. Consists of weekly quizzes, a group presentation, and a final paper worth half your grade.

Group projects can be hit or miss. If you can, take the course and enrol in the same tutorial as a friend. That way you can try and be in the same project group.
