If you see yourself studying solid state physics in the future, you MUST take this course. Dr. Affleck is a well known professor in this field of study and is also an incredible professor. He is extremely helpful in office hours.

Highly recommend taking PHYS315 before taking this course if available. I'm honestly not sure why it's not a pre-req.
