Taught by a passionate professor and is full of interesting ideas. The homeworks are very doable, and you can score high on all of them. The midterms (2) are fair and based on the homework material and textbook questions. The final exam was very challenging and the class average (68) was not scaled by very much, if at all.

Study the homework’s and practice the textbook questions for a competitive mark!

Really interesting course, Dr. Slade gave a great explanation of the material, and had fair but challenging assessments. I learned a great deal in this course, it will open your eyes to a whole other side of mathematics which has incredible beauty.

If you're not a math major / not getting 90+ in the regular math courses I'd recommend reading the textbook sections before classes to get a better grasp. You don't need to be a math whiz to do alright in this course you just have to be willing to work hard.
