Well structured but loads of work, especially in the latter half of the class. The amount of time you invest into the class matters a lot - as there is a mandatory component for readings and film screenings. Even though this isn't required for 2nd year film courses, I STRONGLY recommend taking it before any other film courses. Discussions are mandatory and there is a heavily graded final essay.
