Comments on the course

I love Dr. Krems. He cares about his students and he’s passionate about what he teaches, so that’s really all you can ask for. I have always hated physical chem. In first year I didn’t pay attention at all. I was very scared for this course, but it turned out okay. The courses has either a problem set or quiz due every week. They are hard and will make you feel discouraged. Sometimes you will try for many hours and never get the right answer. Just cry and move on. Luckily, the exams are easier and you might feel better. You may even feel inspired by Dr. Krems and consider that physical chem could be your long lost calling. Just take the grade and move on with your life.

Advice

Practice over and over. Don’t get too caught up on wrong answers, focus on the process instead. Office hours are very useful.
