Very organized, easy to follow, quizzes were very helpful to prepare us for the exam. Insect collection was very interesting. Everyday we were so excited to learn something interesting about the insects.
We learnt so much interesting stuff about insects biology, physiology, behavior and ecology. In the end, we were able to group insects into Orders and Families.
Very passionate. Sometimes the quiz dates were changed to help us cope with other deadlines. She would setup many Lab Reviews before the Lab Final Exam which in fact helped us to prepare for the exam and ultimately resulted in an excellent grade in the course.
I wish I knew that insect collection would be more fun than taking the lab final exam as I chose to take the lab final exam. There was lot of guidance to identify insects.

Awful course. Could have been interesting if the prof actually cared. Quizzes were moved last minute (as in, the night or even HOUR before it was meant to be taken). Exams were easy enough, but hugely scaled down at the end, again with no warning because she made the exams too easy. Super unfair and barely any contact from the prof.
Don’t take it.

Joke of a course when run online, class average was 85+ and grades were scale down due to extremely high averages (90+ class average on exams). Would be much more difficult in person.
95% of what she tests on is random details taken directly off the slides, do the practice questions she gives out because they’re used on the tests.
