English 102 will vary by the prof, but I highly highly recommend Nicholas Beauchesne. He centers his course around the theme of magic and is very interesting. Writing assignments were very fair. He marks very fairly and give useful feedback. For the first time in my life I didn't hate writing.

You can't leave university level essays to the last minutes unless you want a D.

As long as you come to every class and study well for the midterm/final you'll do well
