The class is useful if you are planning to be an aerospace, mechanical, or architectural engineer. However, if you are not, then it is a waste of time and energy. The class is unnecessarily hard, and the in-class examples/homework rarely reflect the actual exam.

The course is mostly kinematics with a focus on aerospace and mechanical applications. You will learn the different forces acting on someone in a plane, the velocity of projectiles, and the forces on overcomplicated door hinges.

The professor made the class very boring with his monotone tone. He rarely knew what he was teaching and could not solve the practice problems without reviewing his notes. I would not recommend taking a dynamics class with him.

I would have switched teachers or waited until Professor Bagget teaches the class. If you are good at kinematics, then you will do great!
