The class is pretty useless unless you want to go into concrete design. The materials were still fun, and you got to create concrete and take it home with you.

You will learn about the contents of concrete and ways to reinforce it. You will also learn about steel briefly.

The professor is really fun and relaxed. He will throw in trick questions on his exams sometimes. Often, his exams will include concepts he only briefly mentions in class, so it is important to write down EVERYTHING! He does record his lectures too.

Pay attention to the lectures because the exams are based on his lectures, not the actual material. Also, make sure you do not have any classes directly after his lab because they will go over by about 30 minutes to a few hours.
