Chemistry is a difficult subject anywhere- especially Gen Chem. Tech's department does a really good job actually with it though. Just avoid Rust, stay on top of Aleks, and turn in labs on time and you'll be alright.

Gen chem 2 picks up right where Gen chem 1 left off. Almost everything comes back like structures, charges, poly-atomic ions, and stoichiometry. Some new topics come in to play though like equilibrium, new equations, nuclear chemistry, and rate expressions.

Dr. Amanda Carroll is the best, hands down. She's nice, funny, engaging, and genuinely cares. She has an awesome sense of humor like her "cat-ion" pun and even baked cookies! Dr. Rezsnyak and Mrs. Alonge are really good back up options though if you can't take Carroll.

I wish I knew how much of a headache Aleks (the weekly homework) was. Also don't take Rust if you can help it.
