Comments on the course

Slightest grammar mistakes and errors in sentence flow easily brings one letter grade down in the essay on mock proposal. Mock proposal you will make is worth 75% of your grade with 25% being quizzes/exam.

Course Content

You will learn how tedious project proposals were made to get grants/funds from state and county level to get low cost or free public health resources

Comments on the professor

She is strict on grading and in explaining how to do the assignment is minimal. Will mark down grade easily from any minor grammatical error. Does not give clarification on doing portions in creating the mock grant proposal, so classmates have to rely on each other to see if they understood the individual assignments

Be prepared to spend a bulk of your time perfecting and proofreading your mock grant proposal as it will be about 30 pages long filled text, tables, and charts- I'm not joking. Reduce as much errors to prevent low scores. Again, take this class seriously... I had classmates who have to retake this class and delayed graduation.
