Students in the past have said this course is easier over the summer, but the course has been reconfigured and students now report that it is just as hard, at least, as taking it during the fall/spring. It doesn't matter who the instructor is (and the course is online anyway). I do not recommend taking this course in the summer if you have struggled with it or think you will struggle with it. There are free tutoring and other supports available in spring and fall that are not available in summer, and in fall/spring you can also go to office hours. Only take this course in the summer if you are confident you have the skills you need to succeed in the course, and the time you need to devote to it, especially if you have an internship at the same time.
