She is very passionate and conducts a practical in almost every lecture. Pretty strict about the course regulations, though. I know people who joined the course late (due to switching courses at the beginning of the sem) and had to use their drops for that.
Some advice (given my own experience): 1. Sharing students' exam papers - for some reason, they don't share the exam papers with students, but you can email the professor, and she'll send the questions you got wrong. 2. Do the homework! If you can do the questions by yourself and understand them, the exams will be a lot easier. Also, do the practice paper they share! I did these two things well ahead of time, and it helped a lot. 3. Help hours— this could be better staffed. At one point, it became a running joke that students helped each other out at office hours. Never take online PHYS 272. The labs and recitation might take you longer than the posted time frame and there's a very consistently large workload even with an exam that week (If you're super lucky you might even have a Problem Quiz (there are 6 a semester) a couple days before the exam too).
