Comments on the course

While the content is very interesting, this specific class relies a lot on whether you have connections to the supply chain. Spoiler alert: if you don't, like me, they tell you to drop the class basically. There is only one section of this course and two professors teaching it with the assistance of about 8 TAs.

Course Content

The content is overall textbook-heavy. Everything is due before the next class and opens the day prior. No such thing as an 11:59 p.m. due date either. Content can and WILL be useful in the real world, especially for those going into sales. This class, however, is just a combination of a communication class and MGMT 323.

Comments on the professor

There are two professors for this class: Scott Downey and Amy Cochran. Downey lectures, Cochran grades and has some of the most backhanded emails you will ever read in your life. Downey is fairly good at lecturing but he cold calls students. Have anxiety? These professors and this class won't help.

Advice

Have a product and sales coach before you walk in the door on the first day or start finding one the second you find out about Ready Set Sell. Otherwise, you're already behind.
