I do not understand the purpose of this class. I did not learn anything except how to write a paper how Mary Ellen likes them. Not one of my other professors in my three years of college has ever had the same requirements as hers. I am still confused where she gets her "guidelines" from.

It was completely student-led and created. Even on our exams and tests, the class was asked to send ideas for questions in the Zoom call chat. The only ideas from the professor were the extremely unclear rubrics for the papers we were required to write. She did not even give us clear topic ideas for these papers.

Very intimidating when in one-on-one scenarios. I have never received constructive criticism or useful feedback on any assignments or an opportunity to fix any mistakes. I was just told I did it wrong, and that was the end of it. She does not seem very focused on educating anyone, just having a bit of a power trip with teenagers and college students. There has to be a reason she was asked to no longer teach at the original campus she was at.

I wish I had been told to run when I saw her name on my schedule. Nobody should be subject to wasting their tuition money because someone's on a power trip. I have wasted thousands of dollars taking this "class" and have not received any useful information that will positively impact my academic and professional careers.
