The course consists of a bunch of links to websites and some pre recorded lectures (usually 20 minutes long). Very little if any engagement from the instructor.
There were some basics of social work policy which I found helpful, but consists mostly of historical events in SW policy which was very basic. I learned most of this in my associate level classes and was disappointed in the content as I was paying graduate level prices.
Terrible. Didn’t show up for the first week and a half. He sent an introduction email addressed as “Dear ‘enter student name here’”. He was allegedly very ill and that’s why we had radio silence for the first week and a half which is ridiculous behavior from the university to not even tell us that. I had a specific question on the first course that I needed answered to complete it. When he got around to answering it was maybe a one or two word response. He frequently forgot to open the classes and after I would finally email him to ask why the class wasn’t open he’d open it and pretend it had been open the whole time.
