Not much content to the course. Primary experience is working with a partner (early in the course, partner up, and then work with that same partner for the rest of the semester). Lectures were dry, and mostly just recitations of the assigned reading. Homeworks were usually just direct applications of the concepts from the reading/lecture, with little to no problem solving or thinking required.

Select your partner well. This is what will make or break your grade.

This man should not write exam questions ever again.

Very useful class, but a lot of work, especially during summer session

Start the homeworks as soon as possible, stay on top of all the work and concepts

Challenging, but fair. Very useful stuff, felt much more rewarding than fundies 2.

Read course notes beforehand and start assignments as early as you can. Upload and auto grade times are very slow when assignments are due. Make sure to test thoroughly.

Gotta use YouTube at some points for OOD tutorials, midterm/final are pretty challenging (online exam)

Taking during the Summer 1 is definitely the way to go. Just gotta crank out a lot of hours on the assignments.

Shesh is great, very honest

I procrastinated a lot in this class and paid the price. Summer burns you out pretty quickly, but the things you learn in this class are EXTREMELY useful.

Shesh was fine. I watched Vido’s exam reviews and I thought they were fantastic, so get him if you can.
