I loved this course. It's pretty light and it's literally grade 12 calculus. However, you still need to put a lot of effort in to succeed, like doing Childsmath or the course pack. The labs are a joke, nobody understands them...even some of my computer science friends, haha. The structure of the course is amazing. Very concise and straight to the point. The tests however are a hit or miss. They're literally always ONLY theory or ONLY application. I know the profs aren't responsible for making the tests but cmon. I don't think they're representative of the class content, that's just my opinion, tho. The exam was fair, however. I LOVEDDD having Clements as a prof. She's very helpful and kind. Comments on the course

Great course, interesting and applicable content. The quizzes aren't too bad and the labs are chill (with chat lol).

Course Content

Deviates from normal calculus courses as it teaches: multivariable calculus -> stats -> probability. all the topics are pretty interesting and are useful (i think). Clements likes to do a lot of modeling so that helps with visualizing concepts to learn it easier.

Comments on the professor

Erin Clements is genuinely the goat though! she is the best teacher i had this year. She keeps the class engaging, she's funny, and very chill (so chill that i fell asleep a few times). Great teaching style and answers questions very well.

Advice

Going to class and tutorials are really good, I asked lots of questions during both, really helped strengthen my understanding. The practice stuff they give out is really helpful.

Comments on the course

Course was very well structured with the 3 tests and 3 labs but the final exam was much more difficult than the tests.

Course Content

The content was useful and very interesting with real life applications.

Comments on the professor

Good pace and teaching style, would also always answer questions.

Advice

There is always a "none of the above" option on the exams so trust your answers.
