If Dr. Yang is teaching this course consider it an instant 12. Your grade comes solely from six tests (one of which is dropped) and practically all the questions come from previous tests (which he provides for you on Avenue). You can get away with just knowing the answers from the past tests, but biochemistry is an important course for anyone in science so at least try to pay attention in lectures.

Dr. Yang isn't the best lecturer as he tends to go off on tangents frequently but the textbook is a comprehensive resource that covers the course content well. He is however really nice and genuinely wants everyone to 12 his classes.
